SARAH IN INDIA AT THE URI GLOBAL ASSEMBLY IN2008
On November 30th, 2008 more than 300 people from 44 countries gathered at the United Religions Initiative’s 2nd Global Assembly at the ISCON Hare Krishna Monastery in Mayapur, India. Dialogues, workshops, cultural pride and collaboration for a better world were all made possible by the gracious hospitality of our hosts at ISCON. SARAH received the Bowes Award for North America for our Community Service Event Initiative which is still in operation each September.
